Queens Road, Richmond
North Yorkshire, DL10 4AE
Methodists and Methodism began in the mission of John Wesley to towns and villages through the 18th century.
Often his mission reached out to those most neglected. This defines a Church that is aware of, and open to, the local community, bringing people together, celebrating their joys and strengths, and supporting where there are needs.
We are an open and inclusive worshiping church, very much a local presence in Richmond, and valuing our membership of the world-wide family of Methodists.
You can find information regarding worship, fellowship, interest groups and activities, as well as the facilities we can offer for hire, through the information provided in this website.
If you would like to know more about any aspect of the church, please use the contacts page.
We would be delighted to welcome interest and enquiry.
Our mission and vision is to be an inclusive vibrant congregation where everyone is loved, cared for and valued; where faith, worship, service, and evangelism affirms, inspires, and challenges.
To become a welcoming, modern, accessible, charitable and very special multi-use community space, available for outreach and for local groups to meet, all in the presence of God.
Each Methodist Church is part of a Local Circuit which is itself part of a District, and in turn part of the Methodist Connexion in Britain. This is part of the Worldwide fellowship of Methodist Christians.
If you would like to find out about the Methodist Church in the North Yorkshire Dales Circuit, of which we are part and the Darlington Methodist District, please follow the links here.
